In Plain English — No Jargon, No Fine Print
Everything That's Actually In Your Website.
Most website companies say "SEO" and "secure" and leave it at that. Here's every real thing baked into a Service Business Builds site — what it is, why it matters, and exactly what's in each package — so you can see for yourself that this isn't a sales pitch. It's just what's actually there.
What every single site gets — no matter the package.
These aren't upsells. Every build, from the $1,000 One-Pager to the $5,500 Full Coverage site, ships with all nine of these.
Fast, everywhere
Your site is copied to servers in 300+ cities worldwide, so it loads just as fast for a visitor next door as one three states away. The big photo loads first, nothing jumps around while the page settles, and buttons respond instantly. Google measures all of this directly and ranks faster sites higher.
Speaks Google's language
Every page carries hidden tags — called schema — telling Google exactly what it's looking at: your business name, phone, hours, service area, what that specific page covers. That's the difference between a plain blue link and a rich result with your rating, hours, and map pin attached. We tag every page, not just the homepage.
Built for every visitor
Keyboard-only visitors can reach everything. Screen readers get real, descriptive alt text on every meaningful photo. Every text color is checked against its background with the actual math, not eyeballed. If a visitor's device has "reduce motion" turned on, our animations respect it automatically.
Nothing to hack, nothing to break
No login page, no database, no plugins, no WordPress. Every page ships with the same class of security headers banks use: HTTPS forced everywhere, no embedding your site inside someone else's page, no leaking where a visitor came from. There's no door for a hacker to find, because there isn't one.
Real photos, sized right
Every photo is your actual work — resized and compressed so it loads fast without looking compressed, and stored on your own site's server, never borrowed from another website. That last part matters: a site that pulls its images from an old host breaks every photo the instant that host goes away.
You actually own it
Your site lives in your own free Cloudflare account, not ours. The domain, the files, every photo, every lead it generates — yours from day one. No monthly "platform fee" that turns your site off if a card expires, no agency holding it hostage.
Visible to AI, not just Google
ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's own AI Overviews all crawl the web now, differently than classic search. We explicitly welcome those crawlers and hand them a clean, honest summary of your business, so you can show up in an AI-generated answer, not just the old ten blue links.
Free tools, not a paid dashboard
Google Search Console, connected at launch, at no cost — it shows you the literal words someone typed into Google right before they found you, and where you rank for each one. That's the real data, and no confusing paid analytics subscription is required to see it.
Our own 90+-point inspection
Before we ever call a build "done," it runs through our own automated checklist: broken links, missing alt text, oversized images, mismatched phone numbers, broken structured data, and dozens more — on every single page, not a sample. Then every page gets a real, by-eye look in an actual browser. Nothing ships dirty.
Your website and your map listing are two different things.
They work together, but they're not the same product — and most website companies only build one of them.
Your website
What we build. You own it outright — the domain, the files, every word. It's what someone lands on after they click, and it's what does the actual work of convincing them to call.
Your Google Business Profile
The free listing Google itself shows — the map pin, hours, photos, and reviews that appear in the "map pack" above regular search results. It's free to have, but it has to be filled out correctly to actually show up there.
A beautiful website with no Business Profile still won't show up on the map. A Business Profile with no website looks unfinished and converts worse. On Starter, Growth, and Full Coverage builds, we set up (or clean up, if you already have one) your Google Business Profile as part of the build — the right business categories, your actual services listed, real photos uploaded, a written description, and it's linked directly to your new site. On the One-Pager and Essentials builds it's a $250 add-on instead of bundled in — it's real work either way, so we don't quietly skip it at the smaller price points, we just price it separately.
One rule we never break: we don't fabricate star ratings or invent reviews. If your business doesn't have Google reviews yet, your site won't claim any — that's not just an ethics call, it's a legal one, since Google and the FTC can both penalize fake review claims. Real reviews go on the site the day you actually have them, not before.
What we don't do — on purpose.
A website company that claims to do everything for you is usually doing very little of it well. Here's what's genuinely on you (or worth hiring out separately), and why we don't fold it into the price.
Local citations (directory listings)
Getting your business name, address, and phone number listed — consistently — across directories like Yelp, Angi, BBB, and industry-specific sites genuinely helps local rankings. It's real, valuable work. It's also manual, ongoing, and doesn't automate well, so it's not something we bundle into a website build. Worth doing yourself or hiring a citation-building service separately.
Getting Google reviews
We set up your Google Business Profile correctly, and optimize it on most tiers — but actually asking real customers for reviews has to come from you or your team. It's the single biggest lever for map-pack ranking, and no amount of profile setup replaces it. Ask every satisfied customer, every time.
Paid advertising
We don't run or manage Google Ads or Facebook Ads campaigns. Our own sixteen years of data (see the homepage) showed ad spend produced a small fraction of the leads organic search did, for several times the cost — so we build for the long game instead. If paid ads make sense for your business, that's a separate specialist.
Ongoing social media posting
We're not a social media management service. Your site, your Google Business Profile, and consistent reviews do more for local search than a Facebook post ever will — but if you want an active social presence, that's a separate, ongoing job for you or a hire.
None of this is us dodging work — it's the opposite. These are the pieces that genuinely need a real person paying ongoing attention, not a one-time build. We'd rather tell you honestly which is which than pretend a website alone does it all.

Why we're not a subscription.
Most website companies make their money one of two ways. We do neither.
A monthly "hosting" fee that never stops, or a drip-fed build stretched across months so the invoices keep coming — that's how most website companies get paid. We don't do either. You pay once, up front, for the tier that fits your business, and we build it — usually inside about a week, not spread across a quarter.
When it's done, it's done: you own the domain, the files, every photo, every word. There's no login we control, no subscription that turns your site off if a card expires, no "migration fee" holding your site hostage if you ever want to leave.
The only optional ongoing cost is a $250/year SEO refresh — reviewing your rankings, refreshing page details, resubmitting to Google. It's entirely your call whether to renew it. Skip a year, and nothing breaks, nothing goes offline, nothing gets locked. Most clients update their site about once a year, when something in the business actually changes — a new service, a new town, new photos — not because a subscription is nagging them to.
Small updates that don't need a whole new page — a phone number, an hour change, a sentence of copy — are free, any time, for as long as we're around. Bigger asks, like a new page or a full redesign, are priced à la carte and listed right on the pricing page. No surprise invoice, ever.
A few things people usually ask.
Do I have to pay every year to keep my site online?
No. The one-time build price is the only required payment. The $250/year SEO refresh is optional — your site stays live and fully functional whether or not you ever renew it.
What if I need a change after launch?
Small text changes — a phone number, new hours, a sentence of copy — are free, any time. Bigger changes, like a new page or new service area, are priced à la carte on the pricing page, and most turn around the same day we start on them.
Do you require a contract or a long commitment?
No contract and no minimum term. You own the site outright the moment it launches — the domain, the files, and the content.
Is a Google Business Profile the same thing as my website?
No — they're two different things that work together. Your website is what you own and control. Your Google Business Profile is the free map-pin listing Google shows next to search results. We set up and optimize both together on Starter, Growth, and Full Coverage builds, and offer Business Profile setup as a $250 add-on on the smaller tiers.
